Canadian Flight Centre, originally known as Canadian IFR Rating, was established in 1979. Canadian IFR Rating was the first flight school in Canada to offer only advanced instrument training for the professional pilot. More than 3000 pilots have successfully trained with us. Graduates from Canadian Flight Centre are currently working at Airlines around the world.

Whether you are just starting a career in aviation or need to renew an Instrument rating or just want the greatest hobby in the world, Canadian Flight Centre will meet all your training requirements.

We offer flight training for Private and Commercial Licenses. In addition, pilots can obtain a Night rating, Multi-engine rating, Single and Multi-engine Instrument ratings, and Instructor rating.

Those pilots wishing to obtain an instrument rating will train in our ATC 810 Simulator and will be exposed to actual "in cloud" flight training in our I.F.R. equipped Piper Seminole.

Our Private and Commercial flight training is completed in the well proven Piper Cherokee 140s, a modern, all metal, low wing aircraft. We also have a Cessna 152, a smaller high wing aircraft. In addition, we also operate Cherokee Warriors and a Piper Seminole - for more advanced training and rental. Vancouver's proximity to the Coastal Mountains and Pacific Ocean allows pilots the opportunity for mountain flying checkouts at our school and float ratings in the local area.

All of us at Canadian Flight Centre would be proud to be a part of making aviation a part of your life. Feel free to explore the instrument panel to the left, and find out more about all the services and programs we offer.
